  I went to this store because I'd been given a sewing machine without its power cord. I took the machine in, they figured out which cord I needed, and sold me the little thing in a zip lock baggy for $37. I naively thought that it was that expensive because it was for a sewing machine. The employees then told me that I needed repairs on the machine, I could have my machine two weeks later, and starting ringing me up before anyone could answer my "Why? and how much will that cost?" Seeing as the estimate was $35 if nothing was wrong, and probably $150, I told them to stop and I'd take it home and try my luck. The machine works fine. While in Salem later, I stopped in a sewing machine store and, out of curiosity, asked how much that cord was. That store sells it for $25 (as opposed to $37). When you go online and look for it, it's easily available for $20 or less. I'm not in the financial position to give people an extra $12 just because, so I went to return the cord three weeks after I bought it from Morrow's... They have a 7 day return policy, (fishy!?) as I was not warmly informed. It said so, right there on my receipt--oh, but I had the visa receipt not an itemized one, so I didn't have that information. Tough for me, then. Without asking why I wanted to return the cord anyway (it could have been broken, they didn't know that I just felt ripped off) I was sent on my way. I'm sorry that I gave extra money to a place with lousy service and inflated prices. Do your homework before going here, push back hard against the pushy sales people, or, if possible, just go somewhere else. I have to eat the money I lost, don't make my mistakes!
